Easy Wine Popsicle Recipe

Summertime is here! Keep cool with this easy sweet treat.
Note from the Chef:
“Wine pops are fairly easy to make, and the can be adjusted to the preferences of your taste buds. I enjoy my wine pops with a healthy balance of sweetness and alcohol, blended with an array of fruit flavors. You’ll find my fruit and wine suggestions here, but feel free to experiment with your own. Happy summer!” Estate Chef Heidi Finney

Ingredients

½ – 1 pound fruit of choice, depending on how fruity you’d like your pops
1 Cup Wine of choice
½ Cup Water
½ Cup Sugar
Popsicle Molds

Method

  1. Combine all ingredients into a sauce pot. Bring to a simmer. Cook to dissolve sugar and remove from heat.
  2. Use a slotted spoon to remove the fruit. At this point, you can add the fruit directly into your popsicle molds, or you can pulse the fruit in a blender or food processor and then add to your mold.
  3. Pour the liquid over top of the fruit. Add your sticks if using true popsicle molds, and freeze overnight.
